Meet the Orchestra” is one of several GSO community outreach programs that provides an opportunity for all vocal and instrumental students in grades 3-8 to meet and talk with our Conductor and Music Director, S. Shade Zajac. Registered students may also sit in on a portion of a concert dress rehearsal, attend instrumental demonstrations by GSO musicians and a concert performance.

The String Workshop is open to both school-age students and adults who play violin, viola, cello and double bass and is designed to provide experience and opportunity for them to come together to make quality music with others of comparable ability. It is a fun and rewarding experience for everyone involved!
